My first plog on this blog! Yay! It seems easy to just make some pictures of what you are doing, but it wasn’t. At one point I forgot to make pictures. So here is my short plog of my day. My pictures are made by my phone, some may be a bit blurry. I am sorry in advance.
I started my day around 7:45, because we were going to primark. Friday was my day off. I showered and this is my everyday make up box. Everything I need was in there.
Make up and outfit done. I am ready to go! My hair is a bit shorter then I had the past few months, but I love it this short!
My trainticket. Since I am not a student anymore, I don’t have a free travelling card anymore, so I buy these ones. It is cheaper than buying a normal ticket.
My favourite blogger from the UK Gabby, she brought out a Primark home collection. Sadly the things I really wanted were sold out. So I bought this one. Primark in Eindhoven this time didn’t had much clothing that I liked. I bought some new clothes but not much. You will see later on in this plog. An other reason I didn’t buy much was, because that there was much Autumn clothes already and I was still looking for some summer clothes. Because we are going on vacation.
After Primark we went for some lunch at KFC and did some more shopping. On our way back we stopped by at Starbucks ofcourse. I love Starbucks, if the city were I go has a Starbucks I need to go.
Back home and on our way again!
It was a were sunny day on friday, I liked that! Today was also a great day, but a bit to hot for me! And I love my hamsa necklace, it is so cute!
My Primark haul! Bought 2 tops, 1 shirt. one pyjama shirt and pants, the quote rom gabby, earrings, underwear, bandeau top.
After three and half years simple plan is back with a new video clip and some familiar faces are in it! Yay!
Watching Pewdiepie in a weird costume playing a horror game! I love when he is scared and I laugh way to hard about it.
Removing my make up with Garnier Micellair water and using my new bodybutter.
Look how unused it looks!
The rest of the evening I watched some tv. I watched The Woman In Black 2, which was extremly boring and I watched one episode of Once Upon A Time
This was my first plog and I hope you like it! See you next time!
I know it is not the end of August, but I really wanted to show you my music favourites of this month. There are only three days left in this month, so I thought why not do my music favourites of this month. Let’s start.
Adam Lambert – Ghost Town
First favourite song of this month is by Adam Lambert. Adam is one of the artists I know a bit longer and I always loved his music. So when I heard that Adam was making a new album I got excited. I’ve been listening to Ghost Town a lot, especially this month.
Chunk! No, Captain Chunk – The Other Line.
It has been two months since Jera On Air. A Festival in Ysselsteyn. My friend wanted to see this band, so we checked them out. This band made me think of my favourite band All Time Low. Ofcourse they are so different and they are so nice! I had to chance to meet them at Jera, because they did a signing. Since Jera On Air I have been listening to this French band a lot.
Enter Shikari – Torn Apart.
Another band that I love after Jera On Air. Enter Shikari! Their show was pretty awesome on Jera. I knew Enter Shikari before Jera, but I haven’t listened to them a lot before. After Jera I immediatly downloaded their album and put it on my ipod and now their are in my favourites!
Bring Me The Horizon – Throne.
When I heard Drown, the single before Throne on the radio. I was blown away and I had no clue which band was singing this, but is was so good. I used shazam and I saw it was Bring Me The Horizon. Last month they announced Throne and when I heard Throne, I was once again blown away! Their album is coming out in September and I can’t wait for it! It is going to be so good!
Kensington – Riddles.
A Dutch band! I think Kensington is one of the best Dutch bands now a days! This song is all over the Dutch radios, you can not miss it! I love the song and every single time it comes on the radio, my volume goes up and I’m singing along! For me this is the best song Kensington made so far!
A Day To Remember – End Of Me.
Thank you again Jera On Air for letting A Day To Remember coming to this festival. Without it, I wouldn’t know A Day To Remember! Before Jera I was checking up some of their songs. This song came out as my personal favourite, but after Jera I haven’t listening to them much. This month I have been listening to them more and more. I wanted to share this song with you, because this song is a masterpiece! Everytime I listen to this song, I’m like this song is so good and goosebumps. This feeling I have from the start and It keeps coming back everytime! I can relate with this song, that is one of the reasons I love this song so so much!
These are my August favourites. If you want, check them out and tell me what do you think of these songs!
Yess! My favourite band made a new videoclip from the song “Runaways.” Runaways is from their album: Future Hearts. This videoclip is an outtake from a concert they gave and some behind the scenes footage.
In the videoclip you see also Mark Hoppus from Blink 182 and Vic Fuentes from Pierce The Veil. Both made a song with All Time Low. The song with Mark Hoppus is called: Tidal Waves and is on the album Future Hearts. The song with Vic Fuentes is called: A Love Like War and is on the album: Don’t Panic! It’s Longer Now.
Today I will review the movie Insurgent. I just saw the movie a few days ago and I waited very long until the bluray arrived. So let’s start with some information.
Genre: Adventure, Sci-fi, thriller.
Insurgent is the second part of The Divergent series. Warning: if you haven’t seen Divergent yet, there could be some spoilers in my review. If you don’t want to read any spoilers: Go see Divergent first!
There are five factions in Divergent: Dauntless, Erudite, Abnegation, Candor and Amity. The story begins five days after Dauntless attacked Abnegation. Tris, Caleb, Four and Peter are hiding in Amity. Eric finds a box that contains all the images of the Factions. Janine I still searching for Tris and Four, because she blames the divergents for the attack on Abnegation. Tris and Four have to find the other people from Dauntless which are hiding somewere and make sure Janine doesn’t find them.
This movie was a great movie! I really loved it. When I read the book I was already extremly excited. I finished the book in 1 day, so when this movie came out I really wanted to see it. I love the storyline and all the visual effects they used. It got me from almost crying to being really surprised or shocked. The only thing I missed from this movie was that they didn’t show the strong relationship from Tris and Four. I wished they had done that more, but on the other side I’m glad that they didn’t use the example in the book. The ending of the movie was really different from the book, I don’t know if I like it or not. I just have to find out in the next movie: Allegiant part 1. Most of the time the second movie is less as good as the first one, but with this movie I really liked the first and the second. I can’t say which one is better, because both have their good and bad things.
I read the book first and I prefer reading the book first and then watching the movie. So if you like reading, you could also read the books. Can’t wait for the next movie!
Sometimes I’m going to do a blogpost about new music from my favourite artists or a new song on the radio. Today I will show you Mans his new song. This will not be a review post about the song.
The 2015 Eurovision winner got a new single called: Should’ve gone home. Mans won The Eurovision Song Contest in May for his country Sweden and his new album called Perfectly Damaged came out in June. Should’ve gone home is on this album.
Since 2008 I watch the Eurovision Song Contest. I love how different countries choose their participant and song. The songs can go from very good till “What is this?” or “My ears!” Every year there is a pre-concert in Amsterdam, where some delegations will visit. Each year I dreamed to go and meet some eurovision artists. This year I finally could go, together with my friend Simon. We both were so excited to see all the countries.
On the 18th of April, it was time to take the train to Amsterdam. After we got off the train we went to look for our bed and breakfast. It was in the middle of Amsterdam and near a gracht. We dumped our stuff in the room and we started walking to the venue. We were also searching for flags, but we couldn’t find any. We had to wait around 4 hours until the doors went open, we spend time with other eurovision fans. And then finally it was time to go inside. Frontrow! I lost Simon for a bit, but he was getting a German flag. I walked straight past it and didn’t score a swedish flag but I got the albanian flag.
The show started and Cornald Maas and Edsilia were the hosts of tonight. The night started with Poland and the last country to sing was The Netherlands.
Poland chose Monika this year to represent her country. The song was a ballad, it was a nice song, but I didn’t have the wow feeling. I was a bit boring.
A typical Balkan song and I really have thing for these kind of songs. I only took my a while until I liked this song!
Her voice is amazing. Her song was weird and I didn’t like it. To screamy and loud for me, but Latvia deserved their place in the final!
Catchy song, but the singing was a no for me. I didn’t like it at all. Dancing was good thought.
I didn’t feel this song at all.
I got a flag from her country and she liked it. At Eurovision In Concert she sang really good, but at Eurovision her singing was so false. I went from like to dislike.
For once I liked a country who changed their song into English. It was a really cute but simple song. Vocals were ok.
Her song had a message about wars and it was a very serious song, besides that I had nothing with the song.
My guilty pleasure this year. This song has grown on me so much after Eurovision In Concert. I loved it.
This song also grown on me a lot. Her performance was amazing, great song and great singer.
This was one of the entries I waited for! One of my favourites, I loved it..
Beauty Never Lies, great message but I didn’t like the song.
This guy was so adorable and his song is so beautiful and cute.. You don’t need fireworks or other stuff to stand out.
One of my favourites to! Loved the song and her performance. Still don’t know why she got zero points, she didn’t deserve that at all.
I couldn’t make a better picture then this, sorry! France, what a surprise you sing in French. She had good vocals, but nothing special for me.
Party! Catchy song, I loved it! Who wants to party
Slovenia was tipped as one of the winners but they sang as first in the final. Not a good place. Anyways I loved this song. She has such a different voice. A Favourite.
Austria, the host country who got zero points. I liked this song, but I knew it wouldn’t get into the top 10.
YES NORWAY YES! This song is amazing. One of the many duets this year, but it was the best one by far! One of my top favourites.
Here we go another duet. This song was more an uptempo song. Catchy and she kissed him on the mounth and he had lipstick on his face.
This guy represented Azerbaijan in 2008! Back then his song was weird, but I liked it! Now his song is so much different. I really liked the song, but his performance at esc visual was messy.
Hello Mate! Australia was allowed at Eurovision one time, because they are diehard fans. Watching it at 5 o’clock in the morning. Besides that their song is amazing and Guy sang very good. The song sounded like a top 40 song. Could have been a winner!
SWEDEN! My winner from the start and he won! I knew Mans before he won this years eurovision and the Swedish national final. Great singer, great performance and great song! Congratulations Mans! And Europe take an example at Sweden and watch Melodifestivalen.
And Last but not least, my country. I liked the song. For the first time I was positive about our entry. We all know how that went.
After the concert we went to the afterparty and we talked to some artists. We talked to Germany, Norway, United Kingdom, Austria and Lithuania. We also saw Sweden! After the afterparty we said goodbye to our new friends and we walked home for an hour. Way to long in the middle of the night! Note to self: Book a hotel as soon as you know the date!
I’m so happy I went to this concert and next year simon and I will go again!
Everyone has a travel wishlist right? Today I will show you mine, because I actually do have a lot of places or countries that I really want to visit. Last year I went to one of the cities I had on this wishlist (twice!) and that was London. London is such a pretty city and I really have to go back soon! (maybe in december, hopefully). Anyways let’s talk about the places or countries that I did not yet went to!
One of the countries that I really want to see is Sweden and Stockholm. From what I saw Sweden is such a beautiful country and they have some pretty good artists to! That just had to be said. Anyways what is visiting Sweden without Stockholm. Since London I got more interested in Capitals. Even thought I like the countryside too. And Eurovision is in Sweden next year! So if you want to go to Eurovision and visit Stockholm, you better go.
Another city that I want to visit is New York. Who doesn’t want to visit New York!? Well there is one thing I have to do before I actually can go to New York. Overcome my fear for flying. Yes I am scared of flying, but I do want go fly someday, but maybe let’s start a bit shorter.
Well I have been to Croatia a few times now, but there is one place I didn’t visit yet and I really really really want to visit it. It is called the Plitvice Lakes. Seriously if you love nature or not, visit it! It pretty much only lakes and water, but it is so so beautiful. The water is so clear and everything is so pretty.
These are pretty much the countries and places that are on top of my list! I really hope I will visit these countries and places someday.
